Please, may someone help me? I have tried : Copying latest files from battleye. After all of my unsuccesful attempts I am convinced now it is BattleEye program related error and I give up my troubleshooting : If somehow I make it working again, I will post. This problem started today. This is probably some sort of internal problem in the Epochmod that the devs will likely have to hotfix.
Just checked it Same issue here, when you return to the lobby and try to rejoin the game just gets stuck on loading with the number '2' in the bottom right corner. I think the devs need to downgrade arma 2 bersions. Yup same here. I've reinstalled everything, and cleaned my pc of anything dayz. You know, if I were the developer of a mod as big as Epoch, I would keep the community updated about stuff like this. It's been 3 days without a peep from any devs about a hotfix, or even acknowledging the problem exists.
Kinda poor communication. It takes 30 seconds to make a quick thread in the announcements forum about it. Just sayin'.
I understand your frustration. Yelling at the mods for Epoch is not the way to go. There are plenty of servers with this update that work fine. I believe this is a combination of the new BI update and the Epoch update. I am in no way a coder or scripter but there are many very talented people on these forums that will give you a hand as soon as they can.
Edit: Just for info I am not an admin on our server just a regular player. I do see alot of players trying to join but not able too so I believe there are still some issues to work out. Have done some serious googling and testing on our server and got a list of steps taken from others and our own guys that seem to work for our players. If it is not visible, use Steam to update Arma 2: OA non beta and repeat step 3 i. If I play the mission without saving, it works, but otherwise, it does not.
I've tried validating local files using Steam, but it doesn't work. Before I validated, it just got stuck on the loading screen. Now, it just does the error.
EDIT: Found a possible source. The ACR addon. Run Operation Arrowhead through Steam Battleye will now install automatically. There are several possible fixes for this issue. Right-click on Steam icon. Left-click on "Run As Administrator". If the problem persists, reboot your computer and try the procedure again. Look for "ArmA" without the quotes. Delete all the "ArmA" entries you find from the registry. Run Steam as Administrator. Right-click on the game in Steam Library.
Click on "Properties". Select "Local files" tab and click on "Verify integrity of game cache files" button. Please wait, the process can take several minutes. Delete everything there except "steam.
Run "steam. Unfortunately if you have lost your cd key we cannot give you a new one. Otherwise, you will have to buy a new copy of the game. So I am having simalar issues. Arma2:OA launches by itself just fine and is playable but when using dayzlauncher it tells me "cannot find arma2oa.
Do you have arma2oa installed? Could this still be an issue with battleye?? Mania View Profile View Posts. I believe this thread speaks for me. Have tried all of the above. I get no BSOD but i am using windows 7 64bit.
No servers show in multiplayer none, not few, none. Loading Arma2OA without battleye shows many many servers.
The trouble is with battleye To anyone just finding this thread - i have tried safe stuff, weird stuff, even tried using dayz loaders instead of relying on the arma server browser. Nothing works.
